Elderflower Cottage

The cottage is set amidst stunning countryside between the villages of Belmesthorpe and Ryhall in England’s smallest county, Rutland. It is also just a stone’s throw from the historic town of Stamford and is the ideal location for a relaxing break.

Owners Philip and Dawn are passionate about the cottage and about making it a home from home for their guests.

It is a labour of love for them and what’s more, they live nearby, so there is always someone on hand should you need anything during your stay.

Elderflower Cottage is the perfect base from which to unwind, relax and enjoy all the delights of the countryside whilst always being within easy reach of local conveniences.  See our guide to the local area for more ideas of things to do locally.

Head out on a long (or short) country walk; discover local sights such as Burghley House, Grimsthorpe Castle, Rutland Water or the pretty market towns of Stamford or Oakham; or just kick back and watch the sun set beyond the sheep paddocks.

So whatever you reason for visiting beautiful Rutland and Stamford, you can always be sure of a warm welcome at Elderflower Cottage.

And having been awarded three stars by Enjoy England, you can also expect high standards.

The property sleeps up to four adults and can be rented per week, but longer lets and weekends are also available.

Please contact Philip and Dawn for more information about the cottage or to check prices and availability.
